In this role, you'll be responsible for the proper packing and shipping of home delivery prescriptions for our members to ensure contents arrive safely and on - time. You'll need to have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast - paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members' health and well - being.Primary Responsibilities:Daily reporting of adverse events to manufacturer partners and the FDA via data entry from QRS libraryManagement of QRS Library Adverse Event queueMaintain a compliance of reporting all notified adverse events within one business day of awarenessMaintain document control of required adverse event reporting formsCorrespond with manufacturer partners on information request via email, mail and telephonePerform document review to ensure no missed adverse events by Avella staffReview metrics on reported adverse eventsCoordination with QA and operations teams on compliance requirementsReconciliation reporting with manufacturer partners on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basisOversight of data entry of alpha and numerical clinical information into Electronic Data Interface (EDI), and Data Distribution Center (DDC)systemsEnsure clinical data is in compliance with policies and proceduresEnsure timely completion of all data entry and maintenance of system filesProtect the integrity of the clinical data.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2+ years of data entry experience – alpha and numerical6+ months of experience with specialty pharmacy6+ months of familiarity with safety databases, data entry platforms, adverse event data collection process, call center, product complaintsIntermediate proficiency (or better) with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook including the ability to create, open, save, edit, and send documents, spreadsheets, and emailsAbility to work between the hours of 6:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through FridayPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher)Prior Safety database experienceUnderstanding of medical terminologyWorking knowledge of good documentation practicesSoft Skills:Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced working environmentDetail orientedAbility to perform quality work within deadlines and minimal supervisionGood organizational skillsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and lead changeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
