Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Perform all types of complex adjustments and closed, denied, and simple adjustmentsMeet Quality, Productivity and Attendance requirementsTeam Lead for a team of 8 - 15 Customer Service RepresentativesSupervise team's schedule adherenceDelegate assignments to teamManage and complete projects handed down to youEnsure Provider SatisfactionMaintain accurate documentationProvide assistance to Providers with status updatesResponsible for any follow - up work needed for resolving and closing issuesIdentify and resolve anticipated Provider issues to prevent future callsMaintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflowsAbility to speak clearly and effectively communicate instructions over the phone, and in personPositive attitude, willingness to learn and improve on a daily basisExcellent organizational and leadership skillsBasic typing skillsBasic math and spelling skills, as well as problem - solving skillsFlexible scheduling, working weeknights and weekendsBasic understanding of pharmacy benefit designsGood understanding of the prior authorization process


Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)Customer Service experience in a Call Center environmentExperience with computers and Windows PC applications (this includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications)Available to work 2nd shift from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Friday and weekends on a rotation basisPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of medical claims billing ICD9, CPT, or HCPC codesPrevious Team Lead experienceOptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
