The Global Training Manager is responsible for the training environment for both internal and external partners around the world. He/She makes strategic and tactical decisions regarding the best methods and practices to meet or exceed the company’s customer experience expectations by producing excellently trained employees. 


Primary responsibilities are described in the following categories but are not limited to:

  • Interpersonal Savvy - Relates well to all kinds of people-up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organization; builds constructive and effective relationships; can defuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity - Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.

A successful Global Training Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and five years related experience including four years of supervisory/management experience and/or people development training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Knowledge base in advanced training methodologies, adult learning theory, and evaluation processes preferred. 
  • Experience with employment development, remote management and call center operations a plus
