Assignment: Call Center - Medicare Service Operations

Location: Springdale, Ohio Office ONLY

As a member of our service organization you will respond directly to questions and provide guidance on transactions, inquires, or complaints from consumers. Humana is seeking a Customer Care Specialist for our call center to directly respond to questions, handle issues and provide guidance to both internal and external customers.

  • Receive, document and resolve customer inquiries by using established best practices
  • Build lasting relationships with Humanas customers
  • Educate customers about Humanas products and services over the telephone

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to handle a constant volume of phone inquiries in a fast paced environment (Avg.20-25 daily)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be available to work any shift between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday thru Friday
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends during peak season (October-March) based on business need
  • Ability to speak and type simultaneously while using two or more computer programs
  • At least one year of customer service experience 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Previous call center experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Previous experience in a medical office/facility
  • Background in healthcare
