In this role, you'll help keep our high-volume pharmacy benefits facility running smoothly with emphasis on maintaining inventory and storage of prescription medicines. This role is challenging. You'll need to have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing prescriptions for other pharmacy support staff or for our members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our member's health and well-being.
This position is full-time (40 hours / week) with current hours of work are 2:00 PM - 1:30 AM Sunday-Thursday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 6800 W. 115th St. Suite 600 Overland Park, KS 66211.
Monitor prescription drug inventory within pharmacy computer system
Receive inventory and ensure accurate product receipt
Assist with discrepancy resolution
Maintain proper storage of prescription drug inventory
Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
Ability to work during the hours of operation 2:00 pm - 1:30 am, CST Sunday - ThursdayIt may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends
1+ years of inventory job experience
