Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Positions in this function perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. Interprets physicians' prescriptions and creates order, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer system, verifies whether order is reimbursable. Dispenses any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals and injectibles; may compound medications. Consults with customers, patients and/or physicians regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions. Consultations may be telephonic or in person. Reviews and approves / denies requests for prescription prior authorizations. Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED or higher1+ years of experience working in a Pharmacy Ability to successfully complete the UnitedHealthcare Operations Customer Service Advocate training classes and demonstrate proficiency of the materialLicensure with the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy TechnicianAbility to translate  healthcare - related jargon and complex processes into simple, step - by - step instructions customers can understand and act upon  Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare experienceAssociate's Degree or higherNational Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, determine immediate requests and identify the current and future needs of the patientFlexibility to customize approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalitiesDemonstrated ability to quickly build rapport and respond to patient’s / doctors’ offices in a compassionate manner by identifying and exceeding patient expectations Careers with BriovaRx Infusion Services.
