This position is responsible for creating vendor KPIs, establishing vendor relationships, and providing strategic support for the markets by establishing an in - depth analytical package. This individual will have a direct line to the VP, Enterprise Contracted Solutions, and will have dotted lines to the markets we serve.      Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for routine scheduled reports, including accuracy, modifications as needed, and timely delivery Lead in the planning, design, development, modifications, and deployment of all vendor - related reports used across the organization Collaborates with IT staff in developing, testing, and implementing information technology solutions for the Vendor Management department. Liaison who communicates reporting needs and translates the Vendor Management department’s technical needs to the IT department Manage vendor bidding processes Collaborate with market operations to identify issues that impact productivity (e.g., wrap - around service scheduling, staffing of events, business continuity events, off - line activities, trends) Deploy / redeploy resources in real time to meet current business levels / needs (e.g., re - skilling, real - time skill management) Monitor attendance / schedule adherence, and take action as needed (e.g., update schedules, realign resources) Optimize scheduling in real time, as needed and communicate barriers to the market on a consistent basis (e.g., Health Fair scheduling, House Calls engagement, event feedback) Perform real - time analyses of performance data and respond appropriately (e.g., monitor intra - day activities, adjust schedules, perform trend analyses) Perform historical data analyses of vendor performance data to identify trends / patterns, and make appropriate recommendations Gather vendor metrics / data and distribute reports as determined by leadership Collaborate with applicable stakeholders to review current performance data and identify opportunities Utilize applicable technology to monitor applicable performance metrics Proactively identify vendor related issues and communicate action plan to address these issues to internal stakeholders Performs all other related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree Experience analyzing data and coming up with recommendations to meet strategic goals 1+ year of vendor management/performance experience Advanced level skills in MS Excel Experience providing reports on vendor performance Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology Experience in MS Access and SQL Call center experience Experience in contract negotiations Experience in managing vendor claims and identifying opportunity Experience managing remote teams 3+ years experience in data analytics 3+ years experience in resource modeling and capacity planning OptumCare is committed to creating an environment where physicians focus on what they do best: care for their patients. To do so, OptumCare provides administrative and business support services to both owned and affiliated medical practices which are part of OptumCare.
