Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) This teams function is to assist in creating / routing pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members' prescriptions. In this role you will prep and scan documents, verify member data, and submit orders in computer system. You may contact members to validate data, request payment information, and establish priority of order. Flexibility is required. Must be able to work shifts within the operating hours of 6am-11pm, Mon-Friand 7am-6pm on Weekends is required. Occasional weekends will be required. Primary Responsibilities: Owns output at task level Work is generally limited to own function Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as Quality, Adherence, Service Level and AHT Coordinates work activities with other supervisors Develops plans to meet short - term objectives Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and / or customers (internal or external) Conducts annual performance reviews for team members Participates in interviewing and hiring of new staff

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas High School Diploma or equivalent Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician 3+ years of Pharmacy experience 2+years of management or supervisory experience 1+year of supervisory or management experience managing 15 or moredirect reports Customer Service experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Must be available to participate in overtime as needed, which may or may not require weekends Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree Quality assurance and / or process improvement experience Previous experience in a call center environment Excellent presentation skills Report and data analysis skills Careers with OptumRx.
