Due to continued growth, we are looking for acustomer focused pharmacist to joinus as one of our newest Consulting Pharmacists in Oklahoma City, OK!The consulting pharmacistperforms various duties which support our members and internal Customer Service Advocates; consults with members regarding the use of medications, medication side effects, drug therapy, and potential drug interactions; assists customers with pharmacist - related inquiries about their orders; provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise; limited interactions with physicians and other healthcare providers.*** Training will be 4 weeks, M-F from 7 am - 3:30 pm CST ***
*** Position will then work in OKC office for 6+ months, M-F from 7 am - 3:30 pm CST, plus coverage on an every other weekend rotational basis with varying days off during the week***
*** Once fully proficient in the role, the position will transition to telecommute with 7 days on, Wednesday - Tuesday from 7 am - 5:30 pm CST, followed by being off for 7 days and then on, Wednesday - Tuesday from 8 pm - 6:30 am CST.

Consults with patients regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions
Analyzes and investigates concerns
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Conducts Quality Assurance and verifies the accuracy of all prescriptions
May take new prescriptions and evaluates patient histories
May need to interpret physicians' prescriptions and verify orders
BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license for the State of OK
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting as a Licensed Pharmacist
Basic level of experience with MS Word and the ability to type and navigate a Windows environment
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Must be flexible and available to work the designated shift
Previous experience in a telephonic role (i.e. call center)
Managed Care and / or PBM experience
Bilingual in Spanish
