Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Account Management is responsible for implementing the strategic call center goals of the Professional Hearing Aid organization with a principal focus on the support of the Account Management team. The Senior Manager, Account Management has the primary responsibility of directly managing a team of Account Managers. Our Account Management team implements solution-based sales strategies and uncovers new business opportunities within accounts based in the region. As Senior Manager, you will ensure all Account Managers meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching. This position will be responsible for the design and recreation of our current inside sales call center including, but not limited to processes, procedures, infrastructure and overall structural design.
The Senior Manager, Account Management will also drive initiatives which will enhance the Business Sales internal/external customer experience, have direct interaction with Sales Leadership, Sales Staff, and Customers and maintain Cross-Channel relationships.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead a team of Account Managers responsible for implementing solution-based sales strategies and uncovering new business opportunities for a specified region
• Responsible for the design and recreation of the call center including process improvement, procedures, infrastructure and overall structural design that results in increased call time, increased revenue, and higher customer satisfaction
• Focus on appropriate call time, sales strategies, and customer relationships to achieve distribution goals, sales targets and customer retention objectives
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-level buying influences in key customer accounts
• Ensure the sales team meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising the Account Managers and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to achieve balance between inside and field sales goals
• Other duties include developing & implementing recognition programs, conducting sales meetings, managing compensation programs, and other projects as directed by management
• Resolving internal / external customer issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and obtain necessary resources to execute needed initiatives
• Implements and executes with excellence all sales strategies, programs and services to further enhance Rayovac’s position in the marketplace
Education and Experience Profile
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience working in a call center environment that required knowledge of processes & procedures, infrastructure design, and structural design required
• 6+ years Sales Management experience managing either inside or outside sales teams
• 6+ years of field business to business sales management experience in a commissioned, quota driven environment
• 6+ years experience leading, mentoring, and training sales professionals with a proven success record for increased sales volumes and revenue
