This position will work in the Home Equity Solutions department within collections. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team of collectors and may oversee first-level supervisors. Duties may include: supervising workflow and quality of collections activity:working with management team to identify problems and improve collections efforts:communicating company and unit policy, procedures, and practices; making employment decisions and setting performance stands; training and coaching staff; writing and conducting performance evaluations; performing budgetary, product and/or business case analysis; researching/analyzing special projects as assigned. Responsible for working with borrowers to process loss prevention options.
Position Hours: Monday - Thursday 11-8 PM & Saturday 6 AM - 3 PM
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience; including 2-3 years in supervision
Knowledgeable in FFIEC, FDCPA regulations; understands and familiar with Home Equity products
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Experience coaching and mentoring employees
Preferred Skills
- Experience in late stage mortgage banking collections, which includes handling, but not limited to, Modifications, Forbearance Plans, Settlements, Short Sale, or Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure functions
- Underwriting experience/exposure
- Sales Experience
