AT&T Advertising Solutions is hiring New Media Sales Consultants in Los Angeles 
 
Responsibilities:
 
1.  Represents Advertising Solutions for the purpose of selling high-end Internet advertising products, Search Engine Marketing, and AT&T Digital Express to local business customers. 
 
2.  Responsible for meeting aggressive sales quotas and objectives.  Responsible for posting daily sales results.
 
3.  Develop selling strategies prior to contacting designated market using a variety of visual and other sales aids.
 
4.  Determining accounts' Internet needs through basic probing interviews to tailor the appropriate Internet product(s).
 
5.  Schedules, organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer and directory deadline scheduling demands promptly, accurately and efficiently.
 
6.  Prepares Internet layouts and background information, as basis for recommending advertising programs and Internet listing arrangements to meet the needs of each business.
 
7.  Prepares forms and letters, handles detailed paperwork and executes contracts for billing.  Prepares necessary paper work for publishing and billing the advertisement.
 
8.  Works with reference material including sales practices and tariff regulations.
 
9.  Constant daily contacts with customers.  Work requires a high degree of accuracy.
 
10.  Job is non-routine and requires flexibility to switch from handling customer calls to detailed paper work, etc.
 
Job Requirements:
 
Though generally day hours, Monday through Friday, the nature of the business may require that customers be contacted after normal business hours (evenings) or on Saturdays.
 
a)  Personal auto used for business.
b)  Liability and property damage insurance policy required.
c)  Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required.
d) Outside premise sales travel to customer locations
e)  Satisfactory completion of background investigation is required.
f)  Internet Sales experience.
g)  Computer experience

Qualifications

Responsibilities include:  Account analysis and preparation customer needs assessment and preparation of professional sales recommendations that meet each customer's specific needs. 
  
Qualified candidates:
  • Should be aggressive yet consultative and results-oriented. 
  • Should have at least 1 year of cumulative commission B2B sales experience in a quota driven environment with verifiable results.
  • Should have intermediate computer skills and a good understanding of the internet.
  • Should have excellent communication skills and a contagious positive attitude!
