Your primary responsibility is to ensure GNOSC (Government Network Operations and Security Center) customers receive professional service and prompt response to their needs. You will support the 24x7 Floor Operations VoIP NOC Engineer function providing VoIP large deployment of over 60,000 ports with a combination of soft and hard phones. This is a custom Cisco Unified Communications (CCM / CCME) environment that includes voice emergency responder design and support, voicemail, presence and chat client, voice quality and dial-pattern and call routing.
Incident handling break fix incident and problem management supporting over 60k users
Device management and health monitoring involves troubleshooting network connectivity and functionality of VoIP devices, often working with Advanced Support Team engineers and/or vendors/partner technology teams on device replacement/reconfiguration.
Focus on SLA attainment for your shift by ensuring ticket buckets are actively monitored and issues addressed in a timely manner. Manage escalations and complex fix actions.
Prepare Shift turnover and Shift Report to ensure continuous smooth continuous workflows between shifts.
Support the following:
Chat Client
Voice Quality
Call Routing
Voice Emergency responder
Support customer required STIG, POAM, ATO and CTO Certification and remediation plans.
Update and Maintain process documents – SOPs
Special Projects
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
CompTia Security+ CE Certification.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree.
Two or more years of experience in a Network Operations Center / VoIP experience.
CCNA / Voice Security Certification.
CCNP – Voice or industry certification.
Knowledge of ITIL and/or previous work in an ISO operating environment.
