This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Providing operational and administrative support to Clinical Consultants to help ensure superior account management with focus on client retention/satisfaction.
  • Delivers high quality reports including appropriate formatting, with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare client-specific deliverables including, but not limited to, formulary and utilization management extracts, Preferred Drug Lists, clinical program collateral, Medispan updates, P&T documentation
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet internal and client deliverable timelines/deadlines
  • Triage inquiries (via mailbox or task intake system) and assure all inquiries are directed and responded to within service level guarantees
  • Provide assistance in the implementation/maintenance of clients
  • Create report documentation and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct testing and provide results based on given criteria.
  • Actively participate on client calls, interdepartmental calls, and team meetings, as applicable
  • Display an eagerness to learn and grow within the Clinical Consulting team
  • Collaborate with other departments outside of Clinical Consulting to meet all expectations, deliverables, and timelines
  • Assist Clinical Consultant in preparation for client meetings, quarterly performance reviews through reporting or PowerPoint slide creation
  • Responsible for meeting turnaround time requirements and highly responsive to requests.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on client deliverable deadlines.
  • Displays an eagerness to learn and grow within the Clinical Consulting Support team

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Computer and reporting skills: ability to understand, generate, organize, compile, and manipulate data reporting systems with minimal training
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (ability to create, edit, save and send documents, spreadsheets and presentations)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician certification and/or experience in PBM or Healthcare service environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in multiple systems, this may include RxClaim (AS400), SalesForce GO, RxBuilder, RxTrack, Showcase, Attachmate, IFMS, and other applicable systems. Specific systems may be used in some roles but not others.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft SharePoint (ability to create, edit, save and send)

Telecommute Requirements :
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and concisely to individuals or groups
  • Superior interpersonal, performance management, problem solving and organizational skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $20.77 - $36.88. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $22.93 - $40.58.
